As a couple looking to explore the city, we stayed at Forgatz' Studio for a week. Desiree and Patrick were exceptional hosts and provided us with everything we needed, from maps and guidebooks to a comprehensive folder of local information. The room had a fully functioning kitchenette and all the amenities we needed, making it a cozy and comfortable stay. The location was perfect, either a 5-minute drive or a scenic 25-minute walk along the river to the city center. We also loved the local bakery and restaurant/bar nearby. Patrick and Desiree made our stay perfect and we highly recommend their place.
Would recommend this hotel.

What a delightful stay! The green surroundings and garden view at Forgatz' Zomerhuisje were truly refreshing. I loved exploring the hiking and biking trails nearby, and the free bikes provided added to the fun. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxing.
Who needs a private toilet anyway? Sharing a curtain is sooo much more intimate.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with lots of helpful information about the area. They even gave us a surprise welcoming gift! the location was great, just a short walk or bike ride from the center, making it easy to explore the city. the studio had everything we needed and more, with a fully stocked fridge and all the amenities we could ask for.
The lack of privacy in the bathroom and toilet area was a bit inconvenient, as they were only separated by curtains. this was a minor issue compared to all the positives of our stay.
